WHY

Girls Just Wanna Have FUN(DING)!

Mission:

Our products’ unique adaptability lends itself to a broad range of appeal to our diverse group of customers; who can confidently refashion and re-purpose their inventory by incorporating our herbal blends as a steeped tea, a soaking bath, or ignited aromatherapy / herbal roll. This allows for sales and promotion in many channels unlike marijuana (cannabis) which is confined. Our dual directional herbal blends support the body’s natural defenses against physical, environmental, and/or emotional stress, and create balance throughout the body. Customers will undoubtedly find Privacy In Public to be a most tasteful way to indulge in nature’s purest elements.

The successful operation and overall prosperity of any business endeavor starts at the top with leadership that is equal parts reputable and passionate. Having solid team management experience in fast paced and competitive atmospheres, and working for such organization as Citigroup, Soft-bank, and Apple, has undoubtedly fine tuned my project oversight, and brand development skills.

Why Fund Privacy In Public?

The $8 Billion US Hemp market has grown 16% each year; with forecast growth of $22 Billion by 2020. I expect rapid acceptance into the market with the strength of our core demographic of women and women of color. This segment has grown at a rate of 42% per year as hemp becomes mainstream.

Women are the fastest growing group of entrepreneurs, particularly black women; women-led businesses are outperforming their male peers in many VC portfolios by 35 percent. So investors must be seizing this incredible opportunity, right?

Nope. Less than 10 percent (and that's the generous end of the scale) of venture-backed companies have a female founder. Less than 1 percent have a black founder. A mere 0.2 percent of venture deals go to black female founders; in fact, only 26 black female founders have raised over $1 million in outside capital...ever. The average amount of capital to black female founders is only $36,000 compared to the overall average of $1.3 million invested.

#FACT @SHERRLING FOR INC. MAGAZINE.

The statistics around venture capital diversity make for uncomfortable reading. Not only are venture capital firms heavily male dominated with just 7% female partners but addressing that imbalance isn’t much of a priority for them either. A recent LinkedIn survey showed that just 5% of investors rated diversity as a ‘top concern’.
